Scientists have done such an experiment:They put some crocodiles and other kinds aquatic animals stocked in the water which has high-concentration carcinogen to observe.Several months later, all animals died because of cancer except crocodile and scientists found different size malignant tumors in the dead bodies after dissecting.The scientists continued to observe the crocodiles for five years,they were still alive. The scientists then increased the carcinogen concentration and injected aflatoxin into the crocodiles’ bodies,observing for anther five years.They did not find any variation after dissecting the crocodiles under anesthesia.

Further study showed that one kind peptide from crocodile serum can quickly damage tumor cell membrane, kill the cell from inside.At the same time ,the peptide can enhance the phagocytosis of phagocytic to remove the lesion cells, inhibiting the occurrence of cancer.

The test from the Chinese scientists of Sun Yat-Sen University showed that the crocodile blood has good effects for resisting virus and tumor,improving human body immunity,and low toxicity,thus can be applied to the preparation of anticancer antivirus and immunity improving medicine and health caring food.
