包装术语
Packing is an art.
包装是一门艺术。
It need more care in export trade than in home trade.
外贸的包装比内贸包装需要更加注意。
There are two forms of packing:
包装有二种类型：
(1)large packing/outer packing,i.e.packing for transportation
大包装/外包装，就是适合运输的包装。
(2)small packing/inner packing,i.e.packing or sales packing.
小包装/内包装，就是买卖时的包装。
The following is a list of specialised terms:
下面列举专业术语：
Bag:May be made of srong paper,linen,canvas,rubber,etc
袋：一般由坚固的纸张，亚麻布，帆布，橡胶等等
Sack:A large bag usually made of jute.
麻袋：一般是由黄麻的纤维做成的大袋子。
Carton:Made of light but strong cardboard,or fiberboard with double lids and bottoms,fixed by glue,adhesive tapes,metal bands or wire staples.
纸箱：一般由坚固轻便的硬纸板做成。上下有盖，用脱水固定，胶带封住，用铁皮或起码钉打包。
Case:A strong cotainer made of wood.
箱子，柜子：由木头做成的坚固的柜子。
Box:A samll box,which may be of wood,cardboard or metal,and they have a folding lid.
箱子：小箱子，一般用木头，纸板或者金属，一般有可以折叠的盖。
Crate:This is case,butone not fully enclosed.It has a bottom and a frame,sometimes open at the top.
椤条箱：是箱子，但它不是完全封闭的，只有一个底部和框架，有时盖上顶盖。
Drum:A cyliner-shaped container for carrying lipuids,chemicals,paint,etc.
大桶：圆柱体的箱子，装液体，化学物质或者涂料的。
Bale:A package of soft goods.(e.g.cotton,wool,sheepshin)
大包：装柔软的物体，（如棉花，羊毛，羊皮）
Can(or Tin):A small metal container in which samll quantities of paint,oil or certain foodstuffs are packed.
罐头（或叫听）：小金属包装，包装小量的涂料，油或者食物。
Carboy:圆型大瓶（玻璃）
Bundle:捆束.
Container:集装箱或货柜。
Pallet:货架，货盘。
