这样就可以了,只要他回复了邮件,要么就是对其中的某些东西提出异议,要么就只有ok,对吧?那就留下文本证据了,以免双方将来扯皮。我说的打电话,只是对于email的辅助,很多时候email发出去,客人一点消息都没有,那就只有电话跟进,了解情况了。如果客人接到你电话,很不好意思地说,我尽快回尽快回,那他就不会不理你了。你就有进一步进展下去的可能。如果还是等不到消息,那就再打电话,总之要坚持,坚持到得到你想要的答复为止。即使客人是拒绝你的,也没关系,但是要弄明白,拒绝你的真正理由!
16. 这个客人你是有合作过,还是以前一直谈过,但没有实际下单?不管怎么说,只要客人不是新进这一行,肯定曾经有供应商的,这点不用避讳。你要做的,只是让客人把你也当作备选供应商,一直给他服务,即使他暂时没订单给你,也一定要坚持。老外虽然重利益,也是讲人情的,你一直帮他做事他也会不好意思地,说不定下次就下点订单给你了。
言归正传,我认为你应该和客人好好谈一下,可以先发邮件,再跟电话,了解真实的情况!这点至关重要,不管能不能合作,不管有没有订单,一定要弄明白为什么没有拿下订单,为什么客人不选择和你合作,要把原因找出来,才能分析自己的弱点啊。我认识的大部分sales都是喜欢报价,来来回回几次,客人没消息了,就不管了。再给别的客人报价,再联系,几次以后没消息了,就又不管了。一定要想尽一切办法撬开客人的嘴巴,让他亲口告诉你真正的原因!!!你才能知道自己的问题在哪里!!!
17. 还有一个疑问,为什么不说清楚你是在哪里看到他的信息的呢?比如大部分用引擎搜出的客户都有自己的网站www.****.com,为什么不可以强调你就是看了她们的网站才过来联系的?这样也会增加他们的反感吗?

坦白说,会的!我曾经问过很多客人,美国的,德国的,巴西的,智利的,日本的,香港的,台湾的,泰国的,等等,除了港台的trading有的时候会看一下之外,其余的国外客人几乎都告诉我,凡是收到类似于这样的邮件,通通删掉。因为他们觉得这些没用,他们哪天需要sourcing的时候,很容易能找到一大堆,这些email根本无需保存。
所以我们只能钻空子,尽量给客人一点犹豫,怀疑是不是曾经联系过你,见过你,或者问你询过价,客人不会好意思地直接问你,我们认识么?
开发信本身就是骚扰对方的,成交率相当低。所以我们要想尽一切办法,即使把它提高1个百分点,也比没有好啊,不是么?.

25. 只要你做sales,价格永远是一个绕不开的话题。老外永远都会嫌贵,做生意的老手更懂得如何一轮一轮砍价,为自己争取最大利益。
我以前听到这句话,总会笑笑,然后对老外说,“I think so, that's a little expensive, but...” 先同意他的观点,表示价格的确有那么一点点贵,但是……。请注意,他说too,我说a little,这样一来,你一同意他的观点,你们之间的谈判氛围就会略微不那么紧张。然后等你转折以后,你要做的就是“让他有赢的感觉!”你可以解释给他听,我们的产品为什么要卖这个价钱,差别在哪里,优势在哪里。如果他嫌贵,你可以在改动某些材料、配件甚至包装的情况下把价格降下来,但是你不希望他采购这样的产品。
然后你可以给他适当的调整一些细节,换一套方案,然后给他有赢的感觉。
价格谈判的核心就在于双方都要有赢的感觉。对方感觉自己赚到了,订单就会给你了。如果你让他觉得吃了很大的亏,那你绝对不是一个谈判高手!
唉,留一个真实的案例吧,我以前在skype上和一个老客人的聊天记录,大家看看:

唯一我有疑问的是你的title,你写的是sales executive,我不知道你想表达的是业务主管呢,还是业务总监?因为地道的英语当中应该没有这个说法,executive通常会放在title的前面,比如我上个月见的几个美国客人,其中一个是senior merchandiser(高级采购),他的头儿是merchandise director(采购总监),再大一级就是executive merchandise director,再上面就是executive vice president,这个职位其实就属于executive officer的级别。再上去就是大家都熟知的chief executive officer,也就是CEO。
所以executive在老外看来,突出的是“执行”,比如说我们公司,vice president和executive vice president是完全不一样的!能做到EVP,通常都是60岁左右的了。在销售方面,一般如果是30多岁,即使你是整个公司的业务总监,你的名片上最好还是写sales director,或者marking director,尽量别出现executive的字样,即使你能力很强很强,客人还是会因为年龄而觉得你不靠谱。
27. 我不喜欢加附件报价单,喜欢把所有的信息都放在邮件里面写清楚。那时因为考虑到很多客人可能比较懒,懒得去打开附件的word或excel,所以仅仅在附件里添加了几张图片,包括产品单独的图片,带包装的图片,还有一张效果图,上面标注上尺寸重量之类的重要信息!!!

29. 这样说吧,非英语国家的命中率会稍微高一点点,因为毕竟国内大部分同行还是使用英文在搜索,这样搜到的网站,搜到的邮箱,可能很多人都已经发过推销信了,你再去插一手,效果就差得多了。
30. 我觉得遇到这类邮件,不要一次把全部的price list发出去,当然,catalogue可以发,而且越多越好,你做样本不就为了给客人看么,越多客人看,你自然机会越大。电子样本尽量用pdf格式,控制在1M以内,客人比较容易打开。至于价格嘛,可以挑几款你们卖得最好的产品先试着报价,然后告诉客人,如果有兴趣或者需要其它产品的报价,你会接着给他报,然后就等可人回音了~
开发信里的确是确定给免费样品,但是前提是你的样品的货值不会太高。有些朋友出口glass furniture或者dining room table chairs的,那免费样品估计是不太现实的。要看具体的产品。我的定义是,样品货值低于运费的,我都愿意给免费样品!

31. 当然,如果是老客人,样品和运费的货值不是很高的情况下,我会全部承担。
另外要特别考虑的就是客人的性质和预期订单量。如果你的客人是美国知名大买家,沃尔玛这种级别的,那就不仅需要提供免费样品,还需要承担运费,因为这种级别的买家是不会承担任何费用的,你不愿意给,别人还会抢着给呢。因为预期的订单会很大,尽管接单的几率很低很低。如果你的客人是马尔代夫的一个贸易商,又是做本地市场的,那即便他告诉你,他有非常大的order,也完全是扯蛋!它的人口和市场决定了他的订单绝对是相当小的。这种情况下,就既要收样品费,又要收运费!不过可以补充一点,当我们接到您的decent order,这笔样品费可以退还给您。即使客人并不在乎这么点钱,但你这么一说,他心里会非常舒服~
32. 如果一次两次没回音还正常,如果情况多了,就必须要了解清楚,具体的原因在哪里。比如打电话去问问,还可以写一封诚恳的邮件,恳请他们告诉你具体的原因,以便你在今后的工作中改进云云。目的很明确,就是要弄明白,绝对不能稀里糊涂的。做业务也要像做数学题一样,不仅过程推理要完整,最后的结论也不能错!如果一直算不出最终答案的,就一定要回过头去看,中间哪一步出了问题。而很多时候往往旁观者清,只要对方愿意提点你一下,你会恍然大悟的。
另外如果回执有老外的名字,要么是他自己看,要么是他出差,他同事或助理帮他看的。这个没关系的,你下次跟进的时候完全可以加上客人的名字!
