转帖: Before I become an international sales, I did Aulds English training .This is one of my friends's business. They never did international business before, but cause the Hk fair in June ,they found there was a big market outside,so they hoped to find one to deal with overseas market.That's why i am here. June-29-2009,my first day,The boss gave me about 20 customer's name from the fair i mentioned and told me they may place order,so i need to contact with them asap. After one week's work, I got 3 replies. One is from Germany, One is from Canada, One is from France. However there are three who wants to know more about us. Now let me choose the Franch customer as my experience here. If you like , i can share some others. The whole feeling I got is interesting and stressful. 1>The first mail I send ( that customer visited us one time) "Hello,Dear *** This is Annie.Luo, we met yesterday in Jintai. Yesterday you left the wax-pattern here, we have made the samples out, and the samples have been send to you now.I think you will recieve them tommorrow morning. After you check, please let us have your specific enquiry .We shall make offers promptly. Your nice smile left a deep impression to me. We shall be glad to enter into business relations with you on the basis of equality and mutual benefit. Look forward to your early reply." Then i received reply, how happy i was that time because he said 2> "Dear Annie, Thanks ! I will be delighted working with you as well. I’m looking forward to see the pieces." 3>then in the afternoon, i send one mail again to ask if he got or not " Have you recieved the samples?What do you think of the quality? Looking forward your sugesstions and specific enquiry .I am always ready to make offers promptly. Then i used 2 days to prapare the quotaiton list for more products. And during that the customer send us an agreement what is to ask us keeping sercet for their design. I don't show these here. There is a small funny thing, After i send more pics of price, the customer didn't reply me again. Then i worried maybe he didn't recieve so i send many times (the same quotation file) and one time he also promised to send us the design of one products until i get this reply: 6>"Dear Annie, Please, do not harass me by sending thousand emails. I will send you files when I will be ready. Thanks," I think maybe many new comers have the same experience as mine. So sad, he asked me not to push him. 8> by the way ,there is another thing, when he send us the design later we can't open it. Then he suggested me to download another software to view. "Dear Annie, Since you downloaded Edrawing, you are able to open these files herewith. Regards," 9>some mails about the samples he wanted "Dear ***: I got your designing sizes. What plating color do you need ?And for the polishing , do you need pain face or windotex. Thanks! Annie" He reply: "Black. need pain face or windotex: What is it ? do you have pictures ?" Oh, I DON'T KNOW THAT EITHER, THEN I asked my workmated to help and took the pics to him to show 10>"I want to try both. So, for the samples I need: 1 bracelet pain face - 1 bracelet windotex - 1 pendant pain face - 1 pendant windotex Let me know samples prices and small mass production prices. " Then i am happy to prapare the price. But that week my boss flied to TW, nobody can tell me the price, so i just can wait, and didn't send any mail to push my dear customer. BUT "Dear Annie, I still waiting my quotations. Do you have any news ?
